S MU’s Celebration of Lights kicked off the holiday season with the lighting of the campus Christmas tree and Main Quad with more than 100,000 lights on Sunday evening, December 4.
Students and faculty joined the celebration to sing songs of the season, enjoy live performers and hear the Christmas story read by President R. Gerald Turner. Hot chocolate, apple cider and cookies were severed as well.
